The Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority announced Tuesday that regular recycling and green waste pickups in Lamorinda are resuming as normal.

The service had been affected by picketers from a garbage service labor dispute in Alameda County. According to a press release, picketers were at the Walnut Creek headquarters of Valley Waste Management, which the authority contracts to collect green waste and recycling in Danville, Lamorinda, Walnut Creek and parts of unincorporated Contra Costa.

The authority is asking residents to set out the green and burgandy recycling carts on their normal service days.
