Campolindo boy’s varsity soccer coach, Jason Maratsos, will not be returning to the sidelines with the team next season. The Cougars went 10-8-3 in Maratsos’ first year as head coach.

The returning NCS champions started off strong but struggled down the stretch in the DFAL, finishing in a tie for fourth place.

The Cougars were awarded the final spot in the 2009 NCS playoffs. As the twelfth seed, Campolindo knocked off the fifth seed, Albany, 2-1, in their opening round game.

In the quarterfinals, the Cougars saw their season end as they fell, 1-0, to Las Lomas. Maratsos received a red card at this game for dissent.
