The Saint Mary’s men’s basketball team will face San Diego State tonight in a National Invitational Tournament third-round game at Cox Arena in San Diego. Tip-off is set for 6:05 p.m.

The two teams met earlier this season in the Wooden Classic in Anaheim. Saint Mary’s won that game, 67-64. The Gaels lead the all-time series against San Diego State, 5-3.

The Gaels extended their season with a win over visiting Davidson at McKeon Pavillion Monday night, 80-68. This is Saint Mary’s first time playing in the NIT.
