Lafayette Post Office to have passport fair

The Lafayette Post Office will be holding a passport fair this Saturday, March 28. The event, which will go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., is to help answer any and all questions people have regarding the new passport law changes or how to get a passport. Passport applications will also be accepted during the fair.

Passports will now be required to travel to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda, starting June 1, 2009.

If you plan to apply for a passport this Saturday, you can save time by filling out the forms ahead of time and taking them with you. Passport application forms can be found here:

The Lafayette Post Office is located at 3641 Mt. Diablo Blvd.
