I had the pleasure of growing up in Orinda from age 4,(1940)until I joined the USMC at age 17 (1954)for a tour in Korea. I lived at 60 Davis Rd, phone# Orinda 2061, and made my living caddying at the Orinda CC. I attended Orinda Union School, Acalanes & Bellarmine in San Jose, and U of N in Reno. Dad was an All American Guard at Cal in 1930 and Mom, Kay, was the socialite daughter of EJ Sweetland of Piedmont, inventor of the automobile oil filter Purolater. Currently my wife Audrey and I are land developers in Colorado Springs http://www.beckettdevelopment.com. We also have non-profit ministries in India http://www.friendsoforissa.org and Israel http://www.cedsite.org Does anyone remember me? If so I would love to hear from you.
