“Green” events in Lamorinda this week

The Interact service club at Bentley will be hosting an “E-Waste Recycling Day” this Saturday, April 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The club, which is sponsored by the Lafayette Rotary, will be accepting old computers, monitors, televisions and microwaves.

On Thursday, April 9, the Rheem Theater will be hosting a Green Rheem Movie Night. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for wine and appetizers. The documentary, “Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home,” will be shown at 7:00 p.m. In addition, there will be a “trashy fashion show” featuring clothing made from recycled materials and a recycled arts and crafts table.
