The Acalanes boys lacrosse team dominated Campolindo in their DFAL match Tuesday. After falling behind, 3-1, the Dons finished the game on a 15-1 scoring streak to win the game, 16-4. Paul Wells finished with seven goals for the Dons, while Logan Quinn added six.
The Miramonte boys lacrosse team earned their second straight shutout in a row, beating Alhambra, 21-0. They won their previous game, 22-0, over Dougherty Valley.
The Matadors are currently in first place in DFAL, with Acalanes just one game back in second place. Campolindo has struggled in league so far, earning only one DFAL win.
The Acalanes girls lacrosse team had a dominant performance of their own, beating Campolindo, 19-10. The Dons blew the game open in the second half, following an 8-7 halftime lead. The two teams had been tied for first place in league. The win pushes the Dons into first by themselves with Campolindo one game back.
The Miramonte girls beat Alhambra, 11-0, and are currently two games back of first-place Acalanes.
