All three local baseball teams played close, low-scoring DFAL games Tuesday, but only two of the teams came away victorious.

Campolindo could only manage to tie Alhambra, 2-2, through seven innings of regulation play, but a run in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Cougars a 3-2 win.

Acalanes only managed to score one run in their game against Dougherty Valley, but that was enough for a 1-0 victory.

Miramonte was the lone loser of the bunch, losing 3-2 to Dublin. The result made the DFAL title race even tighter, as Campolindo, Miramonte and Dublin all have just two league losses as the season heads down the final stretch.
