More scary news involving a young person from Lamorinda

Jamison Hill, a 20-year-old resident of Lafayette, slammed his 1995 Toyota 4 Runner into a 1989 Nissan Pulsar near the Mare Island Bridge in Vallejo Saturday afternoon. The man in the Nissan, Pablo Santiago, 30, of Vallejo, died as a result of the collision.

Hill was sent to Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo, but his injuries have not been reported as life-threatening.

Initial investigation reports show that the Nissan had stopped on Highway 37 and was not moving when Hill crashed into it with his Toyota. The Nissan caught fire after beating hit from behind.

No arrests or citations have been made, although the accident is still being investigated.
