Campolindo football eliminated; Local NCS cross country results

Campolindo snuck into the NCS football playoffs with a 5-5 regular season record and had to see their season come to an end after a first-round defeat to host Fortuna High School, 36-20.

Both the Campolindo and Miramonte boys cross country teams will compete in the state meet after solid finishes at the NCS Championships hosted by Hayward High School. The Cougars finished in second, while the Matadors claimed fourth.

At the NCSĀ  girls cross country race, it was the Campolindo and Acalanes teams that successfully qualified for the state meet. The Cougars finished second, and the Dons finished third.
