The three Lamorinda high school girls soccer teams are usually all near the top of the league standings every year. This year is no different as the three teams are currently in the top three places.
Acalanes and Campolindo are currently tied for first in the DFAL with identical 4-2-1 league records. Acalanes is 9-5-1 overall, while Campolindo has a 6-2-1 overall record. Miramonte is sitting in third place in the DFAL with a 3-2-2 league record.
The Matadors will look to move into second place if they are able to beat the Cougars when they meet on Friday at Miramonte. If the Cougars are able to beat Miramonte, then they will be playing for sole possession of first place against Acalanes the following Wednesday, Feb. 3.
