The Jack in the Box in Moraga is a favorite hangout for many of Moraga’s students and a place where families grab a quick bite to eat. It will be neither for the near future, as the restaurant was closed by Contra Costa Health Services.
Health inspectors noted a number of violations during their inspection on Feb. 1. Some of the violations were carried over from a previous inspection of the restaurant in October.
Violations included a “lack of diligent preparation practices” and “improper disposal of liquid waste.”
A summary of the report composed by Contra Costa Health Services can be viewed here: http://www.decadeonline.com/insp.phtml?agency=ccc&record_id=PR0008676

I would hope that major violations that close a restaurant for days/weeks would constitute grounds for JBX to terminate the franchisee.
