NCS soccer playoffs first round results

The Campolindo and Miramonte girls soccer teams both won their first round games tonight and will meet each other in a quarterfinal game on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at Miramonte. The two teams were co-champions of the DFAL this season and split their two games against each other.

The Campolindo girls beat St. Mary’s, 4-0, in the first round, while Miramonte beat Hayward, 2-0.

The Acalanes girls advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-0 win over El Cerrito. They will play at host Berean Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The Acalanes and Campolindo boys teams also both advanced to the quarterfinals. Acalanes beat Concord, 1-0, and will host Piedmont on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Campolindo beat Las Lomas, 2-0, and will play at Bishop O’Dowd on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
