Campolindo High School will be hosting an event called Underage Drinking: Let’s Change the Culture! on Monday, March 8, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., in the library.

The discussion will focus on ways to prevent teenage students from participating in underage drinking. Underage drinking has come into the local spotlight after the death of Miramonte High School student Joe Loudon at a party in May, as well as several drunk driving accidents by high school students in recent years.

People speaking at the event include members of the Moraga Police Department, a doctor, a lawyer and Campolindo Principal Carol Kitchens.

The discussion is co-sponsored by the Campolindo Parents Club and the Healthy Choices Committee.
