Mikhail “Michael” Kharshan, 55, of Truckee, has been missing for over a month since he was last seen on Jan. 31 near the Boreal Ski Resort in Truckee. According to what friends told investigators, Kharshan had planned to go on a hike with friends in that area.

Kharshan’s wife, Kate Kharshan, who is a full-time resident of Lafayette received a note from her husband prior to his disappearance. The contents of that note have not been made public.

An investigation into the disapperance of Kharshan by law enforcement concluded after investigators ruled the disappearance “voluntary.”

A private investigator continues to look into the case.
