Orinda crime statistics for April

Orinda police made 10 arrests during the month of April. Five of the arrests were alcohol-related: three drunk in publics and two driving under the influence. One arrest was made for domestic abuse, and one was made for blocking a street. The three remaining arrests were made as a result of arrest warrants.

Five cases of petty theft and two cases of grand theft were reported. Six cases of auto burglary and two cases of residential burglary were reported. Five cases of vandalism were also reported.

Orinda police responded to 85 false residential alarms during April.
