Campolindo is currently in second place in the DFAL, but the Cougars will have a shot at finishing as co-champions of the league. The Cougars are currently 7-4 with one game remaining against Alhambra. Alhambra is 7-3, so a Cougars win in the final league game on Thursday, May 20, would put the teams in a tie for first.
Miramonte is currently in third with a 6-4 league record. The Matadors two remaining games are against the two last place teams in the league, Acalanes and Las Lomas. If the Matadors can win both games, they will be cheering for rival Campolindo to beat Alhambra, putting the three teams in a tie for first place at season’s end.
Acalanes is currently 4-6 in the DFAL, but their 14-8 overall record should be good enough for a spot in the NCS playoffs.
