NCS volleyball and lacrosse playoffs start this week

The NCS boys’ volleyball playoffs will start tomorrow with just one of the Lamorinda high schools involved. Campolindo will be the lone local representative, but the Cougars do enter the Division 2 bracket as the favorite. The Cougars are the number one seed and will host Novato at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

Acalanes, Campolindo and Miramonte will all have their boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams playing in the first round of the NCS playoffs on Wednesday night.

On the boys side, eighth-seeded Miramonte and ninth-seeded Acalanes will play each other in the first round at Miramonte at 7:00 p.m. Campolindo, the 14th seed, will play at third-seeded San Ramon Valley also at 7:00 p.m.

The seventh-seeded Acalanes girls will host the tenth seed, Davis, at 7:00 p.m. Miramonte, the eleventh seed, will travel to play at Redwood at 5:30 p.m. Campolindo, the twelfth seed, will play at fifth-seeded California at 7:00 p.m.
