“American Graffiti” coming to Orinda Theatre

The Orinda Theatre will have three special showings of the classic film, “American Graffiti,” this Saturday, May 22, at 12:45, 4:00 and 7:15 p.m. The showing is part of the monthly classic film series presented by the California Independent Film Festival.

In addition to each screening, there will be a Q&A session with Candy Clark, who earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role as Debbie Dunham in the film.

A VIP reception package will also be available for $30. The VIP package includes lunch at 12:30 and a ticket to either the 4:00 or 7:15 showing.

    First thing is the “Print” of American Graffiti had video and audio problems. After American Graffiti had finished we had a Q&A with Candy Clark and I had asked a question about American Graffiti had mixed reviews because it was ahead of it’s time. Candy Clark had answered back by saying she didn’t pay attention at the time of the mixed reviews because there was so much going on at the time.
