Assemblymember Nancy Skinner and members from the nonprofit group Next 10 will be hosting a California Budget Challenge event on Thursday, May 27, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., in the Orinda Library Auditorium.

The California Budget Challenge is an event, in which attendees are given a clicker to vote on a variety of budget issues. The results are then posted on the screen immediately. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and share their opinions. The event will be much more of a discussion about the budget, as opposed to a lecture.

Everyone should come to this event and let the Legislature know they should increase taxes to support education funding!
