Saturday, May 29th, 2010 at 12:45 pm in Crime, Lafayette, Lamorinda, Moraga, Orinda, Schools.

Going to try to start a new feature on the Lamorinda Sun blog where I list the week’s top Lamorinda stories and “in case you missed it”-type stuff. I’m starting with this week’s news from the CCT and Sun but will hopefully be able to expand beyond that.

So in case you missed it:

A Lafayette gas station attendant, suspected of killing his grandfather and shooting his grandmother, was arrested.

Moraga Town Manager Mike Segrest says he’ll have to step down due to his wife’s health.

There’s still no decision on Moraga’s Rancho Laguna II housing project.

The Lafayette Book Store is closing.

John Hampton, a retired Marine who helped found Toys for Tots, turned 103.

School officials react to the governor’s budget.

Moraga has some new Eagle scouts (welcome to the club guys!)
