Moraga’s Boy Scout Troop 246 recently had seven of its members earn the honor of Eagle Scout, the highest rank available. One of the members, Max Weinstein, attends Miramonte High School, while the other six new Eagle Scouts attend Campolindo High School. They are Theodore Geoghegan, Matthew Morton, Michael Tappe, Henry Seeley, Colton Jang and Layth Ramatala.

In order to earn the honor of Eagle Scout, each member had to successfully complete an Eagle Project, which is typically something that benefits the community.

The Eagle Projects completed by this group included installing an arbor, benches, birdhouses and a path at Rheem Elementary School’s Community Garden.

Great job guys, it takes a heck of a lot of tenacity, leadership, personal growth and planning to do what you have done and you will find the meaning will become more enhanced as you grow older.
