High school football opens season on Friday

Acalanes, Campolindo and Miramonte all open their 2010 high school football seasons this Friday, Sept. 3.
Acalanes will open their season at home against Ygnacio Valley at 7:00 p.m. The Dons finished last season with a record of 5-6, following an opening round playoff loss to Analy High School of Sebastopol.
Campolindo travels to play an away game at Albany High School at 5:30 p.m. The Cougars also finished 5-6 last season, losing to Fortuna in the opening round of the playoffs.
Miramonte hosts Analy High School at 7:00 p.m. Despite finishing 4-6 in the regular season last year, the Matadors made a run to the semifinals of the NCS playoffs before falling to Encinal. The Matadors finished with a record of 6-7.
