A small earthquake shook the Lamorinda area around dinnertime tonight. The 3.2-magnitude quake created a light shake at 6:27 p.m., which lasted for just a few seconds.
The earthquake was centered in Concord at a depth of 9.6 miles below the surface, according to the United States Geological Society.
No reports of any damage or injuries have been reported. Earthquakes this size typically do not result in much, if any, damage.
