Miramonte’s defense earned its second straight shutout, as the Matadors dominated visiting Liberty High School, 33-0. ¬†Quarterback Ross Anderson was the star, passing for 116 yards and rushing for 102 yards. The Matadors are 4-0 and will play at Acalanes Friday in their DFAL opener.

Campolindo proved to be too much for Oakland, as the Cougars won easily, 49-18. The Cougars took the lead early in the game and never looked back, amassing 270 yards rushing. The Cougars are 4-0 and travel to Dougherty Valley for their DFAL opener.

Despite allowing only six total points in their first three games, the dominant Acalanes defense showed weaknesses in their 44-13 defeat at the hands of Healdsburg. The Dons are 3-1 heading into their DFAL opener with Miramonte.
