On Sept. 3, a woman walked past the 24 Hour Fitness check-in area and headed into the locker room where she stole a member’s purse. The woman then stole the member’s car from the parking lot after finding the keys inside of the purse.

Also on Sept. 3, Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School’s all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a locked shed.

In what can only be deemed as “scary news,” a 31-year-old Moraga man was arrested on Sept. 30, after police discovered the man had been driving his vehicle with a BAC of .16, or twice the legal limit. The man was initially pulled over for driving 62 mph in the 35 mph zone of Moraga Way.
