Orinda crime statistics for November

The Orinda Police Department made 13 arrests during the month of November. There were seven alcohol-related arrests; four were for driving under the influence, and three were for drunk in public. There was one arrest for each of the following crimes: stolen vehicle, domestic battery, commercial burglary, possession of dangerous drugs, and interfering with a police officer. There was also an arrest for a previous warrant.

Police responded to four reports of burglary, three of petty theft and one of grand theft. One vehicle was reported stolen, and two stolen vehicles were recovered. There were six reports of vandalism.

Police also responded to 104 false residential alarms in November.
