The project of putting in a new field at Camino Pablo Elementary School took a huge step recently when the Town of Moraga entered into a contract with a company called Callander Associates to design the field. The value of the contract is not to exceed $65,000.

Once a design is in place, Moraga will start taking bids for the construction phase of the project. Total costs for the project are expected to be over $700,000.

The final design is expected to be in place within a few months, so that the construction bidding can take place shortly thereafter. The actual construction phase is planned to begin once school is out for summer.
