The Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority plans to increase rates for trash pick-up services starting in March. These rate increases will affect Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda (as well as Danville and Walnut Creek).

According to the CCCSWA, the rates will increase an average of 9-10%; however, based on meetings the CCSWA has had with local governing bodies, it is believed the rate increases may be more significant than that.

Current monthly rates can be found online here.
