Friday night DFAL basketball and soccer

In the big Campolindo-Miramonte rivalry showdowns in basketball, the Cougars proved to be the better teams, as the boys won their game, 50-38, over Miramonte, and the girls pulled off a 55-53 win against the Matadors.

The Acalanes girls were dominated, 72-46, by Dougherty Valley, who is one of the top teams in the area. The Acalanes boys also fell to Dougherty Valley, 52-47.

Acalanes and Miramonte faced off in soccer Friday night with both the Acalanes boys and girls teams winning dramatic games. The boys won 2-1, while the girls won 4-3.

The Campolindo boys beat Dougherty Valley, 2-1, to hold on to first place in the DFAL, while the Campolindo girls tied Dougherty Valley, 1-1.
