The California Independent Film Festival has turned out to be a huge success, offering our local film audiences a chance to see some of the top independent films and proving that The New Rheem Theatre is really back to local prominence. It’s not every day that the swirling spotlights high in the sky are coming from Moraga.

With many directors and actors from the films appearing at the festival, Moraga has turned into a mini Hollywood for a few days. The local, intimate setting has produced a top-notch festival for audiences. If you haven’t had the chance to get to the festival for a screening, it is certainly worth the time to catch a film before the festival is over.
