Girls fare well, boys are out in NCS basketball

All three Lamorinda girls basketball teams in the NCS Division 3 playoffs advanced to the semifinals with wins Friday night.
The second-seeded Campolindo Cougars dominated Tamalpais, the seventh seed, 74-29. The third-seeded Miramonte Matadors beat Analy, 75-46. The two teams will play each other on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Campolindo in the semifinals.
The fifth-seeded Acalanes Dons beat fourth-seeded Moreau Catholic, 56-46, to advance to a semifinal match-up with the overall number one seed, Bishop O’Dowd. The Dons will play that semifinal on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Bishop O’Dowd.
The Campolindo boys, the lone Lamorinda boys team in the quarterfinals, lost to Analy, 59-54.
