Stranger approaches Stanley student

A 7th grade female Stanley Middle School student was stopped by a man in a car on her walk home from the bus stop after school on Monday. The man offered to give the girl a ride home multiple times before driving away after the girl refused to get into his car. The incident took place on Martino Road in Lafayette.

The man was described to police as being 50-60 years old, being heavyset and having grey hair. He was wearing a green sweater and sunglasses. He was driving a black four-door car.
