Rally for Education on Tuesday

The group Lafayette for Education is holding a rally called “Wake up Lamorinda!” on Tuesday, May 24, from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. The rally will take place in Lafayette’s Plaza Park, located at the corner of Mt. Diablo Boulevard and Moraga Road.
This rally is part of a statewide series of rallies called “Wake Up California!” which set out to raise awareness of the budget crisis that public schools in California are facing.
The superintendents from all of the Lamorinda school districts will be in attendance as will teachers, parents and students.
Coffee and bagels will be served at the rally.
