For anyone visiting Lamorinda during this past weekend, they would have found the overly painted car windows and cars with fins a bit strange; however, it has become tradition every summer when the OMPA swim meet comes around.
Nearly 2,000 swimmers and their families competed in 84 events over the course of the three-day swim meet at Campolindo’s Aquatic Center.
In the end, the Orinda Country Club won the meet with 3,774.5 points. Meadow Swim & Tennis Club (3,589.5 points) and the Sleepy Hollow Legends (3,280.5 points) stayed close to earn second and third place respectively.
The rest of the teams finished in this order:
4. Moraga Country Club
5. Moraga Ranch
6. Moraga Valley Pool
7. Orinda Park Pool
8. Campolindo Cabana Club
9. Miramonte Swim Club

It is quite sad, you know. OCC takes the top spot every year for 8 years uninterrupted, and many more before that. I swim for Moraga Ranch, and we are ferociously fighting for our top spot! Look for our win soon!
