Yes, Lamorinda, the Earth is moving under your feet. Following the 3.6-magnitude earthquake that shook the area last night shortly before midnight, a 3.5-magnitude earthquake shook the area again this morning.
This morning’s earthquake was centered 3 miles northeast of San Leandro at the same spot as last night’s earthquake and struck at 9:57 a.m.
Although the earthquakes were both physically felt, neither was strong enough to cause any major panic. There have been no injuries or damage reported as a result of either earthquake.
