As promised, Orinda has set up a series of community workshops on the future of the city’s downtown. The meetings will be held in the evening at the city’s four elementary schools, in the hope of attracting more parents of school-age children.

Here’s the workshop schedule:

  • Wagner Ranch – 7-9 p.m. Oct. 3
  • Sleepy Hollow – 7-9 p.m. Oct. 5
  • Del Rey – 7-9 p.m. Oct. 24
  • Glorietta – 7-9 p.m. Nov. 2
The city is also planning a daytime workshop but is still trying to find a date. Those who cannot attend a workshop can fill out an online survey about the downtown here.
