For years, Burton Valley Elementary School in Lafayette has been the scene of local high school parties. With many options for parking and access to the school and its semi-remote setting that allows the party to go on without neighbors noticing, the parties are rarely stopped.

A recent slew of graffiti, vandalism and broken bottles found on the campus has resulted in Burton Valley’s administration issuing a statement for help from the community in stopping these parties.

The school is asking anyone who sees signs of a party at the school or anyone with information about the potential of a party happening there to contact the Lafayette Police Department at 925-284-5010.
