Campolindo, Miramonte football remain perfect

Campolindo finished off their early season nonleague schedule with an impressive 55-20 victory over St. Patrick/St. Vincent in Vallejo. The Cougars are 4-0, outscoring opponents 157-47 in the process. They face Dougherty Valley on the road Friday in their DFAL opener.

Miramonte beat Liberty, 26-17, in their final game before league games start. The Matadors are also 4-0, outscoring their opponents, 146-96. The Matadors travel to Acalanes for a big DFAL opener for both teams Friday night.

Acalanes lost their second close game in a row, falling by a score of 8-7 to Healdsburg. The Dons are 2-2 after their early season nonleague games with Miramonte coming for the DFAL opener Friday.
