Despite a slow start to the season, the Saint Mary’s men’s soccer team was able to get back on track with a five-game unbeaten streak, which included wins over Loyola Marymount, Santa Clara and Gonzaga. The team is currently 4-4-5 overall but sits near the top of the WCC standings with a 3-1-2 conference record.
The Saint Mary’s women’s soccer team started their season on fire with a 9-2-1 record prior to WCC play starting. The Gaels opened WCC play with a 1-1 tie against Gonazaga; however, they have lost their last five games in a row with four of the losses by a single goal.
