If the 3.0-magnitude earthquake Wednesday afternoon wasn’t enough to shake the area up, the 3.6-magnitude earthquake early this morning was enough to wake up many Lamorinda residents.
The 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck at 3:44 p.m. Wednesday approximately three miles north-northeast of Blackhawk, according to the United States Geological Society. Some Lamorinda residents did report feeling a minor shake.
The 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck at 5:36 a.m. this morning with the epicenter located near the Berkeley-Orinda border. Lamorinda residents reported waking up to the shaking.
No injuries or reports of damage have surfaced as a result of either earthquake.
