NCS water polo update

All three Lamorinda girls water polo teams playing in the North Coast Section Division 2 playoffs earned easy wins Wednesday night to advance to the quarterfinals.

Campolindo, the number two seed, beat Terra Linda, 20-2. They play Sir Francis Drake in the quarterfinals Saturday night at 7:15 p.m. at Contra Costa College.

Acalanes, the number three seed, beat San Rafael, 15-1. They host Northgate in the quarterfinals Saturday at 3:45 p.m.

Miramonte, the number four seed, beat Encinal, 17-3. They host Marin Catholic in the quarterfinals Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

The three Lamorinda boys water polo teams play in the first round of the NCS Division 1 playoffs on Saturday. Miramonte, the number two seed, hosts James Logan at 7:30 p.m. Acalanes, the number three seed, hosts Mission San Jose at 5:00 p.m. Campolindo, the number six seed, hosts Irvington at 3:45 p.m.
