Acalanes proved to be too much for Campolindo in the NCS Divison 1 Boys Water Polo quarterfinals Tuesday night, as the number three seed Dons defeated the number six seed Cougars, 20-10, at the Soda Aquatic Center at Campolindo.

Miramonte, the number two seed, defeated Washington, 15-5, in the Matadors’ home pool Tuesday night.

The Acalanes and Miramonte wins Tuesday night mean the two teams will face off in the semifinals Thursday night at 6:15 p.m. at Miramonte. The winner of that game will play in the NCS final on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Acalanes against the winner of the San Ramon Valley/De Le Salle semifinal.
