Girls volleyball playoff update

Campolindo is the last Lamorinda team alive in the NCS Division 3 Girls Volleyball playoffs after Saturday’s quarterfinals.
The Cougars, the number two seed in the playoffs, easily won their quarterfinal against number seven seed Petaluma, 25-14, 25-14, 25,22. They will host number three seed, Albany, in the semifinals Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
Miramonte, the number five seed, lost their quarterfinal match against number four seed, Sonoma Valley, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-23. The Matadors finished their season with an overall record of 15-6.
Acalanes was knocked out in the first round on Wednesday by Sir Francis Drake, 25-23, 25-15, 26-24. The Dons finished the season with an overall record of 14-16.
