The Campolindo and Acalanes boys soccer teams continue to be two of the most dominant teams in the area after the teams played each other in last year’s NCS final, which Campolindo won.
The Cougars are 10-1-1 and won the Winter Soccer Classic tournament. The Dons are 5-0-3 and currently lead the DFAL with a record of 3-0-1. The Cougars are 2-0-1 in league, having played one less game due to a bye in their schedule. The two teams tied each other in their only meeting so far this season.
The Miramonte boys are much improved after back-to-back disappointing seasons. The Matadors are currently 2-2-2 and sit in third place in league with a 1-0-2 record.
The Campolindo girls appear to be the strongest of the three Lamorinda teams so far, as the Cougars are 4-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in DFAL play.
The Miramonte girls had some early season struggles, but the Matadors appear to have turned things around winning their last two games. They are 5-4 overall and 1-2 in league.
The Acalanes girls are struggling in the early season with an overall record of 2-4-1 and an 0-2-1 league record.
