Saint Mary’s soccer star has Leukemia

Emmanuel Sarabia, known as “Morro” by friends and fans, is currently undergoing treatment for Leukemia.

Sarabia was a key contributor to the Saint Mary’s men’s soccer team’s success this season, including assisting on the game-winning goal that clinched the first ever WCC title for the men’s soccer program. The Gaels eventually advanced all the way to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Donations are being accepted to help pay for his medical treatments. Donations are being collected at Saint Mary’s athletic events, or can be mailed to:┬áSaint Mary’s College, Athletic Business Office, P.O. Box 4380, Moraga, CA 94575. Cash and checks made out to “Saint Mary’s College Men’s Soccer” are acceptable.

Donations are also being collected by the Campolindo boys soccer team at their home game tonight vs. Miramonte at 6:15 p.m.
