The Miramonte girls basketball team clinched at least a share of the DFAL title with their 75-25 win over Las Lomas on Friday. One win out of their two remaining league games would give them the title outright. The Matadors are 10-0 in league and 24-0 overall. The Campolindo girls (6-4 DFAL, 11-12 overall) and the Acalanes girls (4-6 DFAL, 14-10 overall) are fourth and fifth in the DFAL. Both teams should make NCS, but wins next week will be crucial to their seeds.
The Campolindo boys look likely to win the DFAL title, but a season finale against Miramonte, who is currently in second place, could shift the final standings. Campolindo (18-4 overall), Miramonte (17-7 overall), and Acalanes (15-9 overall) all will qualify for the NCS playoffs.
