Five members of Orinda’s Boy Scout Troop 237 have successfully earned the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. The five new Eagle Scouts will officially be honored at a Boy Scout Court of Honor at Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church on Feb. 26.

The new Eagle Scouts are Tanner Cullen, Drew Holland, Tyler Kirchberg, Jason Lammert, and Charlie Wiser.

In order to become an Eagle Scout, each boy earned at least 21 merit badges and completed a service project for the community where they spent at least 100 community service hours. The boys’ projects were to fix things up at schools and churches in the community, as well as help local charities.
