Campo girls soccer advances; Campo boys out

The Campolindo girls soccer team continued their winning ways with a 2-0 win over Las Lomas in the NCS quarterfinals Saturday. The Cougars controlled the majority of the game by shutting down the Las Lomas offense. The Cougars move on to the semifinals where they will face the number one seed, Bishop O’Dowd, on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Bishop O’Dowd.

The Campolindo boys soccer team lost a heartbreaker in penalty kicks to Concord in their NCS quarterfinal Saturday. The Cougars controlled the majority of the game, but a late goal by Concord tied the score at 2-2 and sent the game into overtime. Concord beat the Cougars, 3-2, in penalty kicks to advance.
