Four local basketball teams into NCS semifinals

The Miramonte girls had the most dominating performance of Friday night, as the Matadors beat Tamalpais, 74-25, in their NCS quarterfinal. They will host San Marin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the semifinals.
With a 47-42 quarterfinal win over Analy, the Acalanes girls team advanced to a semifinal match-up with the number one seed, Bishop O’Dowd, at Chabot College on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
The Campolindo and Miramonte boys teams will be facing off in an NCS semifinal at Campolindo on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. In the quarterfinals, the Cougars beat Sir Francis Drake, 50-44, while the Matadors beat Analy, 98-87, in a double overtime game.
The Acalanes boys saw their season come to an end with a 51-49 loss to El Cerrito in the quarterfinals.
